Description: This stunning 1987 M6 is designed both for racing and street driving. The suspension, shocks and brakes are outfitted for the former; the latter boasts a practically flawless cinnabar red exterior that gleams after being waxed monthly. Has custom racing wheels and tires. The tan leather interior is in excellent shape, while the two front seats sport custom-made high quality honey-colored sheep skins that absorb exterior sound and give a really comfortable ride. The sound system is a year old, custom installed with high quality receiver/CD and speakers with trunk subwoofer that have no distortion and sound like you re in Carnegie Hall. This car has been babied by all its previous owners, always garaged and has never seen rain or snow. The underbelly is totally free of corrosion. Meticulously serviced and all records are stored. Many mechanical parts have recently been replaced (clutch, water pump, steering ball joints, belts, hoses, driver-side rubber molding, aerial, etc.). Recently tuned up with new spark plug wires added. Sunroof works flawlessly. It s only bad points are: driver s leather seat is rather worn (but is now covered by the thick sheepskin); leather near windshield is curled in two places; chrome on back bumper is somewhat faded; air conditioning needs recharging and a check for leaks; fog lights need replacing; a few paint cracks on front spoiler; and has a slight oil leak (but I know where it originates and was planning on fixing it at its next service). Has custom made interior car cover; four additional BBS wheels and tires; cold air intake valve; extra racing-style steering wheel, and a few other goodies. This is one mean machine waiting for the right owner to continue the pride of M6 ownership. A real head turner. I keep it gleaming and everywhere I go people strain their necks to get a good look.
